Howdy,

I got your package, thank you very much! Those fleece-y ones are nice. I guess its suppose to get really cold this week because of some tsunami by Alaska....I'll be really loving the tights.

Sister Correia is a sister training leader and exchanges are way easier plus we can just go to meetings together instead of having to split with other missionaries. Sister Correia is super funny, she makes me laugh all the time but she also a really good missionary so we stay focused. She wants to make a title of liberty for the ward to help them become more excited about missionary work. I'll take a picture when its done.

Elder Corbridge came and talked to the mission on Tuesday. It was pretty awesome. He talked a lot about teaching the doctrine (destination), principles (route), and conclusion (application/commitments).

On Wednesday we biked a lot, looking back I'm not totally sure why we didn't just drive because it was pouring rain for most to the day. It was still pretty fun but we were totally soaking. Sister Correia would say to past companions (when they didn't have a car) "the spirit doesn't stop working when its raining!"

We started teaching a kid named Shaun, he is 19. He is the nephew of one of the members but is leaving with his uncle because his original home was pretty rough. He grew up hearing a lot of anti-Mormon from his parents but since he's been in Texas (he's been here for a couple month) he's been coming to church. We taught him the Restoration and he agreed to be baptized. He said that everything he's learned makes him feel really hopeful.

Melissa is doing great and she has completely quit smoking. Yay! A lot of people smoke over here, even the people who you would never expect to smoke. Anyway Melissa has been doing family history like crazy. The first time we started her on it we couldn't really find much but in the past two weeks she's been able to feel out most of her 4 generation pedigree. I'm not sure what's going on in the spirit world but I'm sure her ancestors are helping her out.

I love you! (when I say that I'm talking to the whole family)
